| I've been waiting for this to happen for a while! After 170k miles (only about 55k of abuse personally delivered by me at the 7500rpm rev limit) the NA motor couldn't take anymore. It started knocking at a drift event in Orlando a few weeks ago, and took its last breath trying to limp home. It's a pretty long and boring story, so that's really all I'm really going to say about it, but it was a night I'll never forget :) Here's the only shot I've got of sliding at OSW...

Both motor mounts were shot. One fell apart during the pull, the other I kicked apart when flipping the motor on the stand...

That's pretty much all I've had time to tear apart so far, but I can't wait to see how mangled that piston is in there. I find engine destruction really amusing, so don't feel bad for the little NA motor biting the dust. Please don't ask if I'm going to TT swap, because the answer is NO. I had said I was going to do some other sort of swap, and I still want to, but I have to finish the other project car before the Z can become one. So, for right now I'm just going to throw in another NA motor :)
